Behind innerfields is the artist trio Jakob Tory Bardou, Holger Weißflog and Veit Tempich. They grew up with graffiti and numerous other influences in their hometown of Berlin and have been working together since 1998. The artists reflect their surroundings in their work, mostly in figurative, realistically depicted motifs with graphic elements and symbols. The dominant theme in their work is the discrepancy between man as part of nature, and at the same time the distance from the same in our mechanised, artificially created world. From commissioned works to free art on facades or canvas to art festivals and other art projects, innerfields are active around the globe.
