"Die Spalte" (The gap) - by Case Ma'Claim in Wittenberg
Dear friends, We've layed down big goals on the last KURA2015 - street art in Wittenberg, namely producing at least two large scale painting interventions in the urban holes left by demolished buildings in our city centre of Wittenberg. Well, good news are, beside of all the interventions we produced, we have finally got green light to make the first one close to Collegienstr. 86
This will be a masterwork by the hand of Case Ma'claim. This was profusely debated in the official offices of the city, Landkreis and Federal State of Saxony Anhalt. If you have been following KURA and its theme for 2015, you'd know by now that this work will be fully integrated in the city's urban context. From the 30.07.2015 till the 04.08.2015, Case will be there together with Wbmotion production team. Be a groupie and stop by not just to say HELLO but see this guy (amazing artist) in action.

Born and raised in old East Germany with a can painting vita of 18 years, he has acquired renown in countless articles and book releases worldwide. Although we’ll be presented with great groups of artists, CASE’s presence induces an even greater spectrum of pleasant feelings connected with the opportunity of creating such an event deep inside Saxony Anhalt.<br />CASE is indeed a precursor of Photorealistic Graffiti with Spray Cans. As suggested on his official website, CASE artistry usually depicts people or the human body. He removes them from their normal environments, changes them, and then displays them within a new context, one that has also been modified. This enables him to replace the traditional idea of what beauty represents by controversial, grotesque images; these create nothing less than a very unique form of fascination for the beholder.<br />CASE is one of the Maclaim crew. Needless to say is that they are icons to younger artist generations who anxiously wait for new work releases. CASE has a well-deserved horde of followers and doesn’t feel like hiding behind the content of his work. Some say his work is rough, frontal and tough, delicate and eccentric.</p>
